Arrival at 4 pm, departure at noon

Check-in at South Beach Casino & Resort opens at 4 pm. The room, though, is only guaranteed to be ready by 6 pm. If you arrive at the opening hour, plan your first hours around the casino floor or an early supper. Ask at the front desk whether the room is ready before you carry everything in.

Check-out on day two is at 12 noon. The hotel does not accept pets, so arrange for someone at home to mind the dog or cat before the drive up from Winnipeg or Selkirk. To book a room, call the hotel line at 1-877-775-8259. For all other questions, the resort's main line is 204.766.2100.

Which room to ask for

The hotel at South Beach Casino & Resort counts 93 rooms and suites altogether. Each of its 10 Grand Suites offers 780 sq. ft. of space, a whirlpool soaker tub and a king bed. A sitting room furnished with a sofa bed that pulls out is included too. The 5 Junior Suites are two-room suites of 752 sq. ft., set on the Executive Floor and fitted with two queen beds.

A Luxury King takes 380 sq. ft. on the Executive Floor. Standard rooms are the Deluxe Queen, with two queen beds, and the Deluxe King, each 380 sq. ft. in size. Counted together, the hotel lists 70 Deluxe Guest Rooms and 8 Luxury Guest Rooms.

Every room type includes high-speed Internet at no charge. Friends sharing a room can ask for two queen beds, in a Deluxe Queen or a Junior Suite.

Booking a package by phone

Stay packages are booked by phone at 1-877-775-8259, and every one requires Ocean Club membership. The Ocean Club is the resort's players club, with no fee to join. Your card is made on the spot at the Ocean Club desk, so bring valid ID. Ask the hotel line what a package includes before you book.

Which room has a soaker tub?
A whirlpool soaker tub comes with the Grand Suite. Its 780 sq. ft. hold a sitting room furnished with a sofa bed that pulls out, along with a king bed. There are 10 Grand Suites at the hotel.
Can the dog stay with us?
Pets are not allowed at the hotel, and that includes dogs. Arrange care for the dog at home before you set out.
Until what time can I keep the room?
Check-out is at 12 noon. Plan breakfast and a morning by the water so your bags are out of the room by then.
